Research Interests

Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), Gas Separation Membranes, Multi-scale Simulation, First-Principles Calculation (Density Functional Theory).

Porous materials play a crucial role in chemical engineering and industrial applications, including gas adsorption, separation, and storage. Emerging materials, such as Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) and Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks (ZIFs), offer a vast array of structural possibilities due to the diversity of building units, making it difficult to systematically search for optimal material combinations. Through the combination of synthesis analysis and first-principles simulation, we can accelerate the understanding of gas interactions with newly developed porous materials. Current research topics in the laboratory include:

• Synthesis and Application of MOF and ZIF Materials

• Membrane Fabrication and Gas Separation Testing

• First-Principles Calculations of Material-Gas Interactions (Density Functional Theory, DFT)
